This sub-theme explores emerging and innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, digital accessibility tools, augmentative and alternative communication systems, smart mobility solutions, and Universal Design for Learning approaches. Discussions will focus on how these technologies can enhance learning, communication, mobility, independence, and social participation for persons with disabilities.

Effective utilization of assistive technology requires informed and skilled support systems. This sub-theme focuses on strengthening the capacity of parents, caregivers, teachers, therapists, and other service providers to identify, access, use, maintain, and advocate for appropriate assistive technologies and inclusive interventions that improve quality of life and learning outcomes.

Achieving disability inclusion requires coordinated efforts across sectors. This sub-theme focuses on strengthening policy frameworks, promoting disability-inclusive research and innovation, fostering public-private partnerships, and enhancing collaboration among government institutions, academia, industry, organizations of persons with disabilities, development partners, and communities to advance assistive technology and inclusion.

This sub-theme examines how assistive technology can support the full participation of persons with disabilities in education, employment, healthcare, recreation, and community life. It will highlight strategies that promote independence, self-determination, economic empowerment, and social inclusion.
